WELCOME
The club was formed in 1913, and is the oldest continually operating fencing club in Australia. We operate from the gymnasium at North Sydney Girls High School in Crows Nest.
The club’s membership has included many State and Australian champions, and has been the centre for State and National training squads, competitions and camps.
We welcome fencers of all abilities from beginners to advanced. The club offers classes in foil for beginners of all ages, individual coaching in foil, as well as social fencing.

You can now pay your club membership for 2026.
Membership fees for 2026 can be paid now. The club uses your membership fee to pay for the Club venue and insurance for our members.

The next children’s beginner class will commence Term 1, 11:00am, Saturday 31 January, 2026 This is a great way to learn with your friends, along with other people who have never fenced before. 74th Nils Saksen Mixed Handicap Foil – Saturday, 13 December 2025
Club members of all ages and standards are invited to compete in the annual Nils Saksen Mixed Handicap Foil. Fencing will be electric with score handicaps against the more competent fencers.
